Today marks the 1st Day to apply for a 2024 NFL Bill Walsh Minority Fellowship. In this newsletter, we have the application link, benefits of the program, and advice on how to get selected, let's get into it!
What is the Bill Walsh Minority Fellowship?
As stated on the NFL website: The program's objective is to use NFL clubs’ training camps, offseason workout programs and minicamps to give talented coaches opportunities to:
Observe
Participate
Gain experience
Ultimately gain a full-time NFL coaching position
There are hundreds of success stories on the benefits of the program and why you should apply and highly encourage any Minority Coach to do so.
As the NFL puts it, the Program is:
Designed as a vocational tool to increase the number of full-time NFL minority coaches, all 32 NFL clubs participate each year. Specific aspects of the program — including hiring, compensation and coaching duties — are administered on a club-by-club basis.

Reach out to NFL contacts at any position
Write handwritten letters
